About Kristen

Kristen is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) and Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) in New York State. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from George Mason University, and a Master of Education in Curriculum and Instruction (Applied Behavior Analysis) from Arizona State University.

Kristen began her career in the field of ABA as a therapist during her undergraduate studies and became a certified BCBA in 2017. Since then, she has worked with children and teens across a variety of settings, supporting individuals with a range of developmental, emotional, and behavioral needs. Her experience includes working with clients diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), and emotional dysregulation.

Kristen is deeply committed to providing individualized, evidence-based care that respects the unique cultural backgrounds, values, and identities of each child and family she serves. She strives to build strong, collaborative relationships rooted in trust, open communication, and cultural humility. Her approach emphasizes working within the client’s natural environment and using the least-restrictive, developmentally appropriate strategies to promote meaningful progress and long-term success.

In addition to direct ABA services, Kristen provides parent training, supervision for aspiring BCBAs, and serves as a parent liaison. She supports families of newly diagnosed children and teens as they navigate the initial steps of accessing services and offers guidance through the CPSE/IEP process within the NYC public school system.
