Services

  • Kristen provides individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy across home, community, school, and early intervention settings. Therapy is tailored to meet each child’s unique developmental, behavioral, and emotional needs while promoting independence and meaningful skill acquisition. By working within the child’s natural environments, Kristen ensures interventions are practical, effective, and directly applicable to daily life.

  • Parent and caregiver training is an essential component of effective ABA. Kristen partners with families to ensure they feel confident and empowered to support their child’s development. Training sessions are collaborative, culturally sensitive, and focused on real-life strategies to manage behavior, encourage communication, and build functional skills at home and in the community.

  • Navigating the world of special education and developmental diagnoses can be overwhelming. Kristen offers hands-on guidance for parents and caregivers who are new to the process or seeking additional support. She helps families understand diagnostic reports, access services, and effectively navigate the CPSE/IEP process within the NYC public school system, always advocating with compassion and clarity.

  • Kristen conducts comprehensive behavioral and skill-based assessments to identify a child’s strengths, needs, and the most appropriate interventions. Assessments are individualized and may include Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA), preference assessments, and skill evaluations using tools like the ABLLS-R, VB-MAPP, or AFLS. Results are used to inform treatment goals and monitor progress.

  • Kristen provides structured, evidence-based toilet training programs tailored to each child’s readiness and learning style. With a focus on consistency, positive reinforcement, and caregiver involvement, the goal is to build independence while minimizing stress for both the child and family.

  • Kristen offers remote supervision for individuals accruing fieldwork hours toward BCBA certification. Supervision focuses on skill development, ethical decision-making, and real-world application of behavior analytic principles. This service is designed for trainees who need hour-based support rather than full case management.

Her approach emphasizes working within the client’s natural environment and using the least-restrictive, developmentally appropriate strategies to promote meaningful progress and long-term success.

My mission

At the heart of my practice is a commitment to delivering compassionate, high-quality, and individualized care—directly from a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. By providing hands-on services myself, I ensure that each child and family receives expert guidance grounded in evidence-based practices, consistent support, and meaningful collaboration. My mission is to build strong, trusting relationships, promote real-world progress, and empower families through every stage of their journey.

  • "Kristen has been the most helpful person along our journey to have our son diagnosed with autism and qualify for ABA services. She has been mine and my husband’s go to person for everything. She always answers our calls and texts as soon as possible and has given us so much guidance over the past few years. Navigating through ABA paperwork and insurance is extremely challenging and she has always provided us with guidance and support. She has been able to help my son in so many ways, including getting him services out of state as we move to Florida. She has been very instrumental in finding us the best ABA services as we navigate a new state."

  • "Kristen is truly one of a kind. From the moment I began working with her, it was clear that she brings not only a deep dedication to her work, but also a rare and genuine passion for helping children and their families. She is incredibly hard working, consistently going above and beyond to ensure that every child receives thoughtful, individualized support. What sets Kristen apart is her out-of-the-box approach. She doesn’t just follow a script—she creates strategies that are practical, effective, and tailored to the real-world needs of each child. More importantly, she sees beyond a diagnosis. She sees the whole child—their strengths, their potential, and who they are as a person—and she builds from there. Kristen is supportive and hands-on, walking alongside families through every step. She is realistic and honest, but never discouraging. She meets challenges head-on, always with a solutions-focused mindset. You can tell she is deeply committed to doing her best, not just as a professional, but as someone who truly cares. Working with Kristen has been a gift, and I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone seeking not just services, but a real partner in their child’s growth."

    - Colleague

  • "I was supervised by Kristen when acquiring hours for my LBA. Kristen is extremely knowledgeable about the principles of ABA and is skillful in applying these strategies to meet the individual needs of learners. Kristen is also able to adjust strategies so that they can be practically applied. I learned so much from collaborating with Kristen. She is an excellent listener. She always took time and consideration to reflect upon what I had said. She has a very strong work ethic and she never asked me to do anything that she was unwilling to do herself. Her dedication to the learners she supports is unmatched. She employs creativity, critical thinking and keen observation to plan, implement and adjust behavior change systems that have led to significant behavior change. Kristen is an excellent BCBA and supervisor who is anchored by the ethical principles of ABA and a commitment to making significant impacts across the learners she supports."
